Short CV

Friedhelm Meier is a Research Assistent at the Chair of Systematic Theology II (Ethics), Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg. From 2006 to 2013 he studied Jewish Studies (B.A.), Philosophy (M.A.) and Theology (ecclesiastical examination of the Evangelical Church of the Palatinate) in Krelingen, Heidelberg and Tübingen. During and after finishing his studies he worked at the Institute for Hermeneutics and Dialog of Cultures in Tübingen. In his doctoral thesis, Meier explores the qualification of finite freedom as good or evil in the relationship of the origin of evil and the overcoming of evil. Within the interdisciplinary project SYSKON, he is concerned with the ethical challenges of systems medicine.
